THE POSITION Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human relations, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. Strategic Partner Contributes as a member of the client group's management team to business strategy and operational goal setting to reach business/department objectives and expectations. Acts as voice for the assigned client business into the HR management team (policy and process owners) regarding trends affecting HR, demographic development, and client business needs. Introduces/ implements new HR related services & processes into assigned organization. Change Agent / E&B, Recruiting / TMOD / Learning & Training / C&B Introduces/ implements new HR related services & processes (from SC's and CoE's) into assigned organization Accompanies and implements change projects in his/her area of responsibility together with management of respective organizational units and internal/external experts (if applicable) Leads and implements HR projects in the assigned area of responsibility Participates in other business projects, representing HR Derives trends in development needs, alerts organization to critical areas for succession planning, etc. Supports and guides managers as well as individual employees in HRD and performance management processes in accordance with country specific legal regulations, CoE guidance, and company guidelines and ensures execution of measures Coordinates the interface to service centers (SC) regarding the full portfolio of HR related services (e.g. payroll, Benefits Administration) Coordinates the interface to centers of expertise (CoE) regarding the full portfolio of HR related processes (e.g. Human Resource Development (HRD), Compensation, etc.) Employee Relations Provide expert coaching to management and ensures timely, effective execution of all local operational HR related work (i.e. personnel selection and placement, transfer and separation, succession planning at operational levels, compensation decisions, local organizational design, employee relations coaching for management, discipline and performance management). Ensures legal compliance for area of responsibility. Guides employees and superiors in employee relations conflict resolution (i.e. absenteeism management, working schedules coordination, performance improvement action planning) Responds to employee relation issues such as employee concerns, harassment, and discrimination complaints. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, social science or related area. -7 years experience -Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will only sponsor current internal Continental employees for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Master's degree in business, psychology, social science or related area. -10 years of experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
