We are currently seeking a successful, experienced Restaurant General Manager for the greater Fort Mill/Indian Land, SC area.
In this key position as General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations including food processes, projection procedures, equipment, development, and performance of team members.
In addition, the GM oversees inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimization of profits and satisfaction of guests.
The GM is accountable for the financial and operational performance of the unit, as well as complete satisfaction of guests.

Adheres to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
Delivers the targeted financial return.
Ensures that all financial and payroll related duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, and Federal/State/Local laws.
Estimates food and beverage costs, forecasts sales and profits.
Audits service in all areas by all team members and provides feedback.
Responds to complaints and takes appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction.
Interviews hourly team members, conducts orientation and plays a vital role in training new managers.
Responsible for scheduling of management team and approves schedules made by other managers based on projected business volume.
Ensures proper security procedures, safe working and guest environment.
Provides direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues.
Develops interactive guest relations and awareness of any possible future requirements.
Relays such information and ideas to the Vice Presidents for the enhancement of the guest expectation.
Sets a good example of the company dress code and appearance standards, ensuring that your team fully complies with all expectations.
Enforces all alcohol and food licensing and regulations.
Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of cinema.
Hire, develop and nurture employee talent to reduce turnover.
Understand and report Workers' Compensation and General Liability claims using proper procedures.
Write an optimal and timely film schedule based on weekly booked content.
Work closely with the management team to identify and develop team members for future leadership roles.
Ensure the highest level of hourly employee training and validation of team member knowledge.
Qualifications:

years of full-service restaurant management experience In-depth knowledge of Restaurant operations Basic knowledge of accounting practices, principles, and profit and loss Excellent interpersonal skills Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
Have a commitment to quality service and food and beverage quality Familiarity with required Licensing and Labor Laws Ability to motivate team members to achieve a common goal Ability to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants Able to maintain a staff low turnover rate and keep staffing numbers up to par Excellent communication skills Proficient computer skills Hickory Tavern is a growing company seeking energetic, fun, passionate and talented Restaurant Managers.
