Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety professional to join our team.
As a Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards, implementing safety programs, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance management, OSHA regulations, and occupational health.
Required:
500 hours of OSHA training.
Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks - Provide training to employees on safety procedures and protocols - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions - Collaborate with management to develop strategies for minimizing risks and improving safety performance - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in safety management - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards such as OSHA, etc.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compliance management and regulatory requirements - Proficiency in OSHA regulations and occupational health standards - Experience in risk management and implementing effective control measures - Familiarity with construction management software is a plus - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety protocols - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate incidents and develop appropriate solutions - Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including construction management This is a critical role within our organization as we prioritize the safety of our employees.
