Position Objective:
Obtain and maintain employee records and driver files to ensure information is accurate and compliant, and that it is entered into the HR/Payroll system for proper allocation of pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:
Conduct all pre-employment background checks and ensure the results meet Sunbelt standards
Communicate the pre-employment background, MVR, and drug test results to the hiring manager.
Ensure appropriate action is taken when pre-employment results do not meet our company standards (ie: pre adverse letter, call manager, etc)
Complete online E-Verify module and conduct verifications for New Hires
Create personnel files and enter employment information, including benefit elections into Ceridian.
Create and work with hiring manager to complete driver files.
Work closely with (DOT Coordinator) to ensure compliance of all DOT driver files.
Track driver files on appropriate territory spreadsheet
Contact Profit Center manager (PCM) for missing and/or incomplete employment information.
Print and maintain approved employee requests
Coordinate with Recruiting as to the status of employee requests.
File related documentation in personnel files.

Send sales packets to new sales representatives
Participate in answering HR Hotline calls
Respond to employment verification requests appropriately and timely
Mail new insurance cards to employees as they arrive
Mail exit packets to recently separated Sunbelt employees weekly
Pull terminated employee's I-9s and place in appropriate purge file weekly
Assist manager with jobsite compliance and maintain jobsite files including employee authorization forms
Participate in the Open Enrollment process through tracking and processing paperwork
Participate in the performance review process by tracking and processing completed reviews.
Perform other duties assigned as by the manager.
Education and Requirements
College Degree preferred and/or related work experience
Prior Human Resources or other related experience
Prior DOT/Fleet coordination experience

Experience:
2-4 years of administrative or general office work experience
Other requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and motivation to get the job done
Proven discretion in handling confidential matters
Ability to Multi-task, and be highly organized
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and ability to learn other software applications as integrated or required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
