The Financial Reporting Analyst responsibilities include tracking and management of provider registration, attestation and Meaningful Use payments. The goal of the Meaningful Use Program is to support the capture of incentive payments for provider use of an Electronic Health record in compliance with standards defined by ARRA/HITECH.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems preferred.
Experience:
Two to five years of experience in financial reporting required. Healthcare and clinical reporting experience preferred.
Additional skills required:
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; understands and can apply knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals, patient billing and order entry system procedures, and federal and state regulatory requirements related to billing and coding; ability to analyze and resolve issues at a detailed level, including meeting with department managers, researching requests for reports, data reconciliation, data distribution and user support. Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to plan and organize work. Ability to travel to other Novant Health facilities on occasion.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
