Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with a technical documentation function. As part of the job function they will exercise use of the MRP system to reproduce engineering/manufacturing documentation, such as drawings, bills of materials, parts lists specifications and engineering change orders. Ensures that master drawing files and history files are accurate and current and that effective control is maintained over drawings and other document records. Ensures documentation and production projects meet established quality standards and deadlines. Coordinates with engineering and production functions in providing document control services. May be required to keep documentation for external regulations or procedural guidelines such as ISO-9000 standards, IEEE, or FDA.
Must have experience with configuration management. Works with others in the group to review, analyze, and schedule implementation of all ECO (Engineering Change Orders) / MCO (Manufacturing Change Orders) / PDN (Process Deviation Notices) activity from all customers. Log all change activity into database and monitor ECO activity to determine scheduling and best strategy for implementation according to internal best practices. Monitors all PCN (Process Change Notifications) from suppliers and internal sources to determine effect on customer parts.
Must have experience working with Oracle. Responsible for creating part numbers, assembly numbers, including setting up item attributes such as lead time, labor time, test times, etc.
Must have experience working with Agile PDM system. Responsible for database integrity by ensuring adherence to number formatting including RoHS revision, customer codes and product revisions. Responsible for approvals for all Agile users in the plant. Also works with the corporate Agile team on special projects.
The ideal candidate will be required to interface with a diverse group of people including customers. The ideal candidate must be organized, highly efficient and possess a personal demeanor and appearance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
o Completion of at least two (2) years college education, preferably Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent with relevant years of experience.
o Completion of formal training in computer or equivalent years of experience in Document Imaging System and MS Office. Preferably knowledgeable in Visual Basics and Agile.
o Minimum of 5 years work experience, of which at least 3 years in an engineering environment
o Good command of written & spoken English and ability to prepare reports and statistics
o Experience working in contract service and repair environment is a plus.
o Must have database experience (MS Access). Responsible for maintaining ECO and PDN databases.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
