The primary function of the Regional Service Technician is to provide direct support to all regional Profit Centers to improve unavailable fleet. This role requires 80% travel to support the Region. Additional responsibilites include:
Service equipment as required to ensure proper and safe operating condition
Effectively communicate equipment issues with local PC and District
Conduct preventive maintenance when needed
Clean work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment
Meets all company, governmental and equipment related safety requirements
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or authorized personnel
Ability to travel up to 80%
Some trade school desirable
Broad equipment knowledge
DOT Physical Examination (Medical card)

years of experience with similar equipment
Must own and be able to effectively and safely use mechanic's tools and equipment
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to communicate equipment issues and understand job assignments
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work assignments
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems including (but not limited to) mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
Exhibit personal and professional integrity
Exhibit a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety
Must be flexible regarding work assignments
Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness
Possess a working knowledge of individual equipment design and safety requirements
