Systems QA Analyst 4- Regression Coordinator

Within the CCC-QA area of TOG, it is important that the regression process is streamlined in order to ensure a successful implementation of each release. The Regression Coordinator position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the regression bed for each of the ER Platform applications to include ER Collections, ER Borrower Portal, ER Counselor Portal, and ER Loss Mitigation and Fulifulment. This role will require a dymanic individual with experience in planning and leading regression effort for each Code and Configuration Release to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables. As the Regression Coordinator this indivdiual will be responsible for maintaining the regression bed and quality assurance activities related to project, release, or initiative prioritized within Collections and Home Preservation area. Other responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for analyzing requirements and technical specifications to understand the changes being implemented for each release.
Will need understand the functionality of each ER Platform application.
Ensures Regression test scenarios and test cases are created and updated in ALM according to departmental standards.
Provides leadership and acts as a liaison to the Application Leads, Automation, Data Team, and all other areas of the WFHM Default Servicing.
Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, review, and maintance of the regression bed.
Works with internal and external partners to establish and maintain a consistent ISTM methodology.
Will serve as a coordinator for regression testing activities on a project.
Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating regression issues.
Participates in the Test Case Walkthrough, Peer Reviews and Code Release Notes Meeting.
Coordinate with the Automation Team to ensure understanding of the changes for Automation scripting.
Schedule and facilitate the post release meetings for each application to identify the impacts to the regression bed.
Work with the Application Leads and analyst on each application to identify the cross-functional regression impacts. Will be responsible for maintaining once idenitifed.
Coordinating with the offshore resources in relation to Regression Bed Updates.
Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.
Develops processes and best practices to streamline regression bed.
Basic
Qualifications: 5
years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Previous experience conducting functional, negative, regression, system integration (SIT), acceptance (UAT), load/performance, security, browser compatibility, web-based, and performance testing
Previous experience with automation testing and automation testing tools.
Previous experience staging/conditioning test data
Previous experience with Quality Center (HP Quality Center) or ALM.
Strong understanding and hands on experience with QA processes and methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, self starter, quick learner, team player.
Proven track record of successful coordination of resources and timelines
Can work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working on multiple releases simultaneously
Mortgage Experience a plus
Previous Experience with EarlyResolution (ER)
5 years or more of previous experience with Quality Center (HP Quality Center) or ALM
Experience with QTP is a plus
Strong understanding of Mortgage Default Lines of Business is a plus
Knowledge of Blacknight/MSP is a plus
Basic knowledge and understanding of Sharepoint.
