Assembly Setup Operator- 2nd Shift

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a qualified Setup Operator - Assembly (2nd Shift) to support our Plant 3 facility on our Fort Mill, SC campus.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for sampling parts during the assembly operation to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications
Ensure that all components have been accepted and correspond to the assembly work order and blueprint while keeping parts organized in such a way to avoid mixing
Verify all required paperwork and gages are on the workstation
Ensure gages are properly set and properly calibrated per calibration stickers, and perform inspections / quality checks per the control plans
Adhere to 5S standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex assembly / machine issues
Qualified candidates will have:
Minimum of two years in manufacturing environment operating complex plant metalworking or related equipment
Experience with machine set-up on the same machine or machine type as will be responsible for after hire
Ability to read/complete blueprints
Ability to provide examples of previous complex troubleshooting
Strong communication skills and strong mechanical background with troubleshooting skills
Ability to work overtime to include weekends
HS Diploma or GED
